I’ve made a lil map explaining my experience of the access queue to see our amazing Queen lying in state. I hope it helps anyone that would love to go but is worried how ‘accessible‘ it really is. Zoom in! @DCMS#queueforthequeue#QueenElizabeth#queen#disabled#Accessibility
Very cool to talk to the 1st Bidborough Guides about Parliament, Society, and Life.
🙏 Thanks for the opportunity!
(They also voted on a ‘Guides name’ for me, which was … Bear!)
I have a further update regarding the water outage affecting most residents in Tunbridge Wells.
*Free water bottles are available throughout the night*
South East Water will now be providing free water through out the night at the following locations:
- St John's Sports Centre off the St John's Road, TN4 9TX.
- RCP Car Park on Major York's Road, TN2 5TP.
Where possible, please only take two packs per household so that there is enough to go around. Security teams will be present at each site, and police will be checking in.
If you are a South East Water Priority Customer and you need a bottled water delivery because you cannot get to a distribution site, then pease call 0333 000 0365.
*More water stations will be open tomorrow morning*
Alongside the water distribution sites at St John's Sports Centre and the RCP Car Park, South East Water will be reopening its water distribution site at Knights Park Odeon Cinema, TN2 3UW tomorrow morning.
For quickest updates from me, my Twitter feed at @ThreshedThought is probably the best. even if you're not on Twitter you can Google my feed and see the information on it.
*Water supply should be coming back online tomorrow morning*
The affected water treatment site in Pembury is now up and running and South East Water are currently going through the process of increasing its capacity to then fill up its reservoir.
Assuming this all goes well, we can expect the water supply to return to affected households at 06:00 am tomorrow morning.
However, households that are furthest from the reservoir may have to wait until noon before they regain their supply.
Individual schools will make a decision on whether to open or close tomorrow and will be in touch accordingly.
*What next?*
This situation raises many questions about South East Water. For now, I am focusing on the immediate crisis and getting water to vulnerable people. We will deal with South East Water in the coming days.
oh wow so florence pugh got diagnosed with pcos and endometriosis by a gynecologist in america and then she want back to her gynecologist in london and that gynecologist told flo that she couldn’t possibly have pcos bc she was only 27 and that she was making it up basically

The richest Prime Minister in history – worth an estimated £529,000,000 – is demonising sick and disabled people.
He wants us to blame our problems on anyone but the real culprits:
The Tory government, their super-rich donors, and a system that puts greed before human need.
@the_clonmel_kid@GartethTheWelsh@Cannola80 P.s it isn’t new. I used it at all parks in the 90’s they just didn’t advertise it like they do now. The criteria was stricter and you was only allowed one carer with you.
@the_clonmel_kid@GartethTheWelsh@Cannola80 Nonsense badge?!? My wheelchair doesn’t even fit in most standard ride queue because of the zigzag barriers! Plus a it allows you to enter via the step free access on the rides that have levels to queue round!
@siannnyyy26@themeparkcallum @mcpizzaperson04 @ThrillNet@Eclipse0208@altontowers@CWOA@LEGOLANDWindsor@MerlinapUK It definitely sounds like you only go during peak times and school holidays. I think you’ll find those times there will always be delays and this is definitely not going to help that, I know I just went this weekend, Easter! It’s definitely not like this during non term time
@siannnyyy26@themeparkcallum @mcpizzaperson04 @ThrillNet@Eclipse0208@altontowers@CWOA@LEGOLANDWindsor@MerlinapUK It doesn’t though because I went to Chessington on Saturday and it was actually worse than ever. Ive never not been able to get on a ride or have to skip because RAP queue was to long. All it did was add stress. Not everyone will agree on things but this certainly isn’t it.
