You know what I think is broken
That children of working parents have to pay for holiday club, breakfast club and after school club, in order to be able to keep working when children are off school etc
But the children of parents who don’t work, get those things for free even though they don’t need them because they’re home and can look after their children
These ‘benefits’ should be for those who work full time. Not the other way round
🚨NEWS: when asked why Sadiq khan wasn’t at the Royal banquet on his state visit
President Trump says : “I didn’t want him there, I asked for him not to be there, I don’t want that”
Sadiq Khan the mayor of London wasn’t welcomed, and he did not attend.
"People like us don’t want to say it — but most of those there weren’t waiting around for Elon Musk or Tommy Robinson."
The “Unite the Kingdom” march on Saturday was misrepresented by the media, says Times Radio presenter @TrevorPTweets.

If you turn off the fear porn media and actually speak with people in Britain, so many of them share the sentiments of this woman.
The media are desperate to label ordinary, sensible people like her as extreme, when they are in fact the exact opposite.
This is the fairest assessment of the Unite the Kingdom rally.
Sir Trevor Phillips went and saw normal, decent folk, a diverse crowd and hymns being sung. Those tarring it as “far-right” are projecting their own bigotry.
The murder of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy, and a sign of the utter desperation and cowardice of those who could not defeat him in argument. Charlie Kirk has been killed not for espousing extremist views - because he didn’t. He has been killed for saying things that used to be simple common sense. He has been killed because he had the courage to stand up publicly for reasonable opinions held by millions and millions of ordinary people both in the US and Britain. The world has a shining new martyr to free speech.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
We paid for Angela Rayner’s education. We paid her wages when she worked for the local council. We paid her wages when she became an MP. We even paid the settlement that enabled her to buy a house. Tax payers have funded every aspect of her entire life.
I’m sick and tired of being in a country where completely derranged, dangerous, perverted people are labeled the victims. And good people who step up to protect us from their harm are arrested and made out to be the bad guys
Btw, what the f*ck was all this about? A drag queen mockery of the Last Supper at the Olympics? Would they have mocked any other religion like this? Appalling decision.
Awful service from @sainsburys this morning, nearly 9 months pregnant, my lift has stopped working and the delivery man expected a heavily pregnant woman to carry all of the shopping up on her own without even offering any help & was not the most polite about it. Shocking service
The UK is drifting, unhappy, losing faith in previously respected institutions (like the police), buffeted by extremists (often allowed to run amok), dismayed by decline, angry at the inability of the political class to do anything about it, despairing that the Westminster politico/media bubble pursues an agenda, issues and priorities (look at the obsession with Lee Anderson) which are not most people’s — and had enough of being lectured to by a disconnected, de haut en bas chattering class. Yet we have a Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition incapable of speaking up for the moderate majority, who still have pride in their country and are desperate for strong leadership and guidance through the current morass — plus some hope/sign things will get better — all within the bounds of traditional British tolerance and fair play. This vacuum is dangerous.
'I have never felt such a strong desire to buy a man a pint as I did when I watched that builder clear Just Stop Oil protesters off the road.'

This is what overwhelming opposition looks like.
Retweet if you think Sadiq Khan should listen to the overwhelming majority of Londoners, and U-turn on his ULEZ expansion.

@TfL@coyleneil@lb_southwark It is bad enough with the congestion of Rotherhithe tunnel and now this. The lights are letting through two cars at a time! Not a good look for pollution or children that are trying to sleep, my own 2 year old included!
@TfL@coyleneil@lb_southwark can someone please explain the logic behind the temporary traffic lights at Jamaica rd? All I have heard is car horns beeping for days and have not seen anyone working. It’s now nearly 11pm and still all can I hear
