It's turned into a kind of cold & rainy afternoon, & I just lectured about 19th c "good death" & watched the reading of the Sullivan Ballou letter from "The Civil War" for the umpteenth time... don't mind me, just weeping in my office now 😭

Today was my 1st day in a classrm I've never stepped foot in & had tech unlike any rm I've been in on campus, so OF COURSE I couldn't get the tech to work. BUT the students were rly into discussing Rev War camp followers, filling my ❤️ with joy. Still gonna count it as a win!🎆
