These claims look like nothing more than a publicity stunt. Asim Munir has, in my view, pursued policies that align with Israeli interests, including restricting pro-Palestinian activism and targeting those expressing solidarity with #Palestine. Given that, I find it hard to believe that Israel would seek to harm someone whose actions have so clearly worked in its favor.
