@G0ldrushGirly@preciousgguk_ You have connected something so obvious and yet so overlooked. Love Karen Carpenter, I truly hope we don't lose more talent to eating disorders. It's one of the biggest tragedies I know of.
@TigcoFNC@ladidaix@PopBase Bipolar disorder by itself won't make you any kind of hate mongering asshole.
Delusions of grandeur? Sure.
Does that take some people to very dark places? Sure does.
What makes me sad about Kanye is how his public image damages not only himself, but the bipolar community.
Opening tomorrow in Monterrey, a show of contemporary works in the permanent collection of Fototeca @conartenl. These works were part of my first big solo show back in 2005. The Fototeca collected the whole series of 50 large scale C-print portraits of inhabitants of the northern state of Nuevo León, Mexico.
@_ElizabethEdits@4thehop30fitall@lilsmck@taylorswift13 Yes, I truly love a lot of artists, like Taylor and Chappell, that have way too many versions of their vinyls. I gotta admit they are really cute and nice pieces of artwork... but I think it's a huge problem as it promotes overconsumption and damages the environment.
@4thehop30fitall@lilsmck@taylorswift13 Maybe think for half a second about over consumption. I love her music, but it's obscene the amount of unnecessary vinyls she sells as "limited editions" and I worry about how other swifties buy all of them immediately. It's your money, but overproduction kills us all.
