If this happened in my hometown, I would guess it would have been ended in 3-4 minutes tops by police, less by civilians.

@Nocturnal Testing a few additional fixes. TLDR is a repair followed by a reboot seems to roll the release back from the buggy one (R15_71), 2nd renaming the "Attach" folder since the alleged cause is QB is opening 1000+ attachment files randomly. Links to follow.

@Nocturnal I just uninstalled (Version R15_71) and reinstalled from scratch (Version R15_27) and the problem fixed itself. Also disabled automatic updates for the whole system and the current user. Hopefully that works until QB releases a fix...

@Nocturnal Yes I have clients that started complaining about Enterprise Desktop freezing and extremely slow yesterday. Looking for a fix, also strangely quiet on X. Possibly @quickbooks evil plan to force folk to QB Online??!!
