Batteries can store >40MWh & will be 4x larger than any battery installation that has been constructed anywhere in the world for marine transport.

Range will be up to 100 n.m.

A 🌞 Solar and 🐟 Fish Farm

The world's first gigawatt-scale offshore solar project has been connected to the grid in Shandong Province, 🇨🇳 China, and it's also a 🐟🎣 fish farm.

At 1 GW and a capacity factor of ~20%, the project is expected to generate about 1.8 TWh of electricity annually, displacing over half a million tonnes of coal from the mix.

The panels are mounted on steel truss platforms that are fixed to the sea bed with steel piles.

It's combining solar PV with fish farming. The steel framework below the surface will be used to house fish farms, enhancing the utilization of the area.

We have the solutions and just need to implement them.

The Fehmarnbelt tunnel will set world records when it opens in 2029. It will be the longest road plus rail tunnel and the longest underwater road tunnel. It will replace a 45 minute ferry with a 10 minute drive and shorten the Copenhagen to Hamburg rail journey by 2+ hours.

- ChatGPT reduced writing jobs by 30% and coding jobs by 20%
- AI image generators reduced image creation jobs by 17%
- These numbers are not rebounding
- The effect is bigger and faster than with other forms of automation
