This really has me thinking quite a bit today. There is a lot of meaning here in such few words. Here is a bit of prayer. Dear God, grant me so to love you that I come to know you. Grant me so to seek to know you that in seeking I come to love you. Amen
@flemingrut We’ve never met, but have the inimitable Kate Sonderegger in common…but I always think and sometimes say aloud “I love you, Fleming Rutledge” when anything you write rolls past my eyes…
The Spirit continues to testify to the grace of God in Jesus, bringing about growth in love and in numbers. The grace of God is fruitful and effective, and we see God taking the initiative to spread his grace to ever-expanding numbers of people.

@rosenberg I’m an Episcopal priest, and a friend of mine’s a hospital chaplain. He has a patient, depressed from losing her leg to cancer, who would give *anything* for @Eminem ‘s autograph—please??
My daughter, Sophia, was a guest on @pintswithjack to talk with the Rev. Andrew Lazo about discovering C. S. Lewis.

Also, @cspan is recording this event for Book TV.
Wasteful wild Lord, you sow recklessly the Gospel seeds, you leaven all the flour at once, you turn the house over for the lost, and you do not count the cost of opening the gate of your kingdom. Let me be so generous with all, and especially myself.
