@AshleyMenold@TechCrunch I'm not sure if Phhhoto can win this sue case because there are similar features in different social media. However, I hope that the court can figure out if Facebook and Instagram have stolen ideas from others and punish them.
@mrbvirgo I think that as a celebrity, Chris Pratt needs to think about what he is posting and what way he is delivering the message more carefully. Definitely agree with you that his wording is disrespectful to his son, and he should put those words there.
@Nabarkorin Although I'm not sure what exactly is Meta, I agree with you that Facebook has hurt people's mental health. I personally don't use social media a lot, but I have heard a lot of researches about Facebook and Instagram damaging mental health such as causing anxiety or depress
@Sarahturneyy I'm still not sure what the Meta is, but I'm pretty sure Facebook will not let go any opportunities to earn money; like our facial recognition data. It's terrify just to imagine what can the data been used to hurt people.
As Phhhoto sues Facebook, or Meta, I think the focus should also be the laws which are not capable to limit tech companies. As the technology improves, our laws are not able to keep up to deal with new issues and it is causing lots of problems.

@mrbvirgo Totally agree with you. It is really terrify just to imagine what can Facebook do if it collects everyone's data and uses it on Metaverse. By small things like ads, Facebook can really manipulate people's life by brainwashing with those ads.
@Sarahturneyy It is really sad to see that Facebook values emojis more. Comparing to the purpose of Facebook when it just started, now it is like a data monster which only wants to eat more data so that it can earn more money.
@Nabarkorin tbh, I think it is people's own judgement that is affecting their minds. Squid Game is just a show and everyone knows it. You can of course agree with ideas in the show. But when people try to hurt others and bring up the show, that is just excuses.
@_Ruubaee It is really good that Instagram is finally doing this. I've seen so many people trying to share stuff and they have hard time sharing links. It is definitely more preferable for me to tap on links instead to find the link on other page.
This is pretty much like YouTube right now that paying money for more exclusive contents. I personally like this idea on YouTube because creators work really hard to get a video done. But I don't know if this idea is as good on Twitter tho.

@mrbvirgo I definitely won't use his social media. According my knowledge to Trump which is mostly based on his presence on media, he is not a trustful person in my opinion.
@Justin51095035 I think I read about an article about how those "likes" make people easier to have anxiety. Like some people will get nervous when their posts on insta is not having a lot of like. Removing those features is pretty good since it is not necessary for normal users.
@AshleyMenold@TechCrunch I also think that having family tool is pretty good. Younger generation is now living in a complete different world with us when we are kids. It is essentially important to have certain features to help those parents to look over their kids.
@Sarahturneyy Totally agree with you. I feel like most people on internet tend to only agree others who share the same ideas. I often see people being toxic to each other just because they have different views about one topic.
I personally it's is a great news that Messenger is adding the AR experiences in chat because I have friends in Taiwan and this will help me to stay in touch with them. But it's not clear yet what is the different from this and old face chat.

@DaijonMT@USATODAY For me, I just assume that those posts are meant to be funny and for entertaining. I know some people will definitely be offended and they have rights to be because internet shouldn't be a place that people can say random bad things and take zero responsibility.
@vanityr1231 Although Facebook does not have responsibility of taking care for teen's mental health, I believe they should pay more attention on this topic since it is still the most influential social platform in the world.
@AshleyMenold@TechCrunch I really like these new tools for creators on Instagram. The scheduling is like YouTuble which helps audience to expect when the creators will be posting or streaming. Those new tools will definitely help creators and benefit those who are using Instagram.
@Nabarkorin Definitely agree with you. An example is that some people feel bad about themselves because they are seeing others posting their lives on Instagram. However, many posts are fake, or after photoshop and the pictures are not even real.
I can understand that many people hate to see ads on social media, however, I believe ads are necessary for those companies to survive. It is definitely a great news for users to see that companies are welling to change the way they show ads.
