@Evancainx I would hope that other social media platforms see the problem with prioritizing income over safety because it isn't something that would grow their users. #csulbmc
@Justin51095035 I am curious what this will lead up to too and how this will affect people and our society. I have a feeling it's not going to go so well but who knows? Maybe Trump has changed his ways. #csulbmc
@mrbvirgo I completely agree with the fact that Meta can be contributing to a dystopian society because it has already contributed to that area in a large amount. I just think social media needs to become healthier or we should just ditch it all.
I think that it is funny that America has an aesthetic... and if anything the American flag? Why not the most popular cities or historical landmarks... lol. #America#aesthetic#csulbmc https://t.co/ldjAsmgG72
Not gonna lie, I'm a bit pessimistic about this whole new "Meta" transformed Facebook just because of the damage Facebook has already done to our mental health overall. #csulbmc#Meta#facebooksnewname https://t.co/8zMqodvukF
@J104Sarah In our generation, this is getting more and more common but it needs to stop in my opinion because it is getting out of hand. Everything nowadays is being recorded and out emotional reactions are slower because we see stuff like this all of the time now because of social media.
@AndrewLongBeach I like the idea of this being on Twitter because there are a lot of accounts on Twitter I think should get paid for their content but then again I think Twitter is filled with a lot more toxic topics than Youtube is. #csulbmc
@_Ruubaee Omg yesss! I deleted Instagram recently but even though I'm not using it anymore, I still love the fact that they did this! #csulbmc#instagram
@Evancainx I think that if Facebook changed its name to "Metaverse" the whole world would change and it would be very weird. I don't think they should change it just because "Facebook" is so unique and only the app comes to mind and maybe a book with a face on it. #csulbmc
@Justin51095035 Yes, I agree. I think it definitely is not just the likes or follows that make social media mentally harmful at all. If anything I think it's a less severe case of it. I would say how addicting it is, is what really affects us. #csulbmc
@_Ruubaee Tiktok has made it into the top three social media platforms in the world, I would say I use Youtube pretty often still. I feel like Youtube is that go-to app for anything. To learn how to make something, search up lyrics to a song you want to find, or just watch videos. #csulbmc
#SquidGames has been the hot show lately that has caused many people to go crazy about it. Do you think it is affecting the minds of people that watch it with the brutal and hostile murder scenes? #csulbmc https://t.co/ugsP5WLsuu
I am shocked by how accurate this article is. We really are so distracted by the next things that are happening on social media it pulls us away from the things that matter. Social media is a fog for our minds. #csulbmc#socialmedia https://t.co/zXHaUBDU4X
Tweet for Week #6: If we trust each other with our knowledge and put the truth out on social media, we can help be a trusting environment. Whether it's in person or in real life. #csulbmc#socialmedia#trust#truth
