Mike Brey calls them KILLS.

If you're looking for a defensive stat that is arguably the most PREDICTIVE stat in basketball, it's 3 STOPS IN A ROW.
This isn't a stat you'll find on https://t.co/EgCrXMm7eT or https://t.co/VR8iz3v3fI but according to Mike Brey, who religiously tracked 3 stops in a row, win % is ~ 90% when you accomplish this 7 TIMES in a game.
Build your defensive around stringing together consecutive stops. This allows for better scoring opportunities, gives you the ability to micro manage your defense during the game and most importantly provides a ton of ENERGY.
Stopping opens up options, which is why your ability to slam on the brakes is crucial.
If your defender stops on your hip, restart your attack immediately.

Live DHO Progression
🔘 1 v 1 - Defense splits the cones and offense goes over the top
🔘 1 v 2 - slide the bottom cone to the side so the defender has to cover more distance. Help side starts on backside block and can leave when the DHO happens
🔘 2 v 2

The Zoom action creates large gaps for the dribble drive and creates indecision for the defense, which are keys to a successful offense.
The Zoom Action has become very popular in the NBA and college levels, but it's easy to teach and use at even the Youth level.
Basketball Teams such as Northern Iowa and Loyola Chicago run motion offense centered around this specific action.
