@JustinAion Schools are an institution subsidized largely by the free labor of those in society who value them most (read correctly), namely: teachers. This is not uncommon and occurs in other professional fields as well such as public defenders.

@JustinAion 1/2 - The reality is that the US does not monetarily value schools (thus teachers) do the degree they benefit society. It’s NOT a market place don’t expect it to behave like one in terms of labor.

@sonicradboom @Bill_A__Bong One of the main reasons boomers own most of the wealth on that graph is that they are older. Wealth accumulation correlates age. That wealth was previously owned by THEIR Parents/grand parents, when they did, it will be passed to x and millennials.

@JustinAion I’m far more compassionate about kids circumstances outside school, I am far better at cataloging and storing info from lessons and getting kids up to speed when they miss class, I plan much more throughly, and I’m twice as organized as I use to be
