@STVNews Why don't they just introduce NFC points at train stations or on trains so you tap in when you arrive? Easy enough to add to the Scotrail app. It's the 21st century!
@BBCHighlands I appreciate that this is an operators licence but it's still a perverse decision. I hope the victim is suing the rapist to make sure he doesn't profit from the continuation of the business.
This is an absolutely class vintage kit shop thats not long open in the south side of Glasgow.
Picked up 4 kits there in the past couple of weeks and all ridiculously reasonable. Check it out if you're nearby.
@Glasgow_Times Remind yourself that the Council Leader said Glasgow needed more control over listed buildings ... whilst leading the Council that destroyed its own listed buildings. They granted planning permission to demolish a listed building rewarding the developer who removed the roof.
@Glasgow_Times This is nonsense. Purely intended to create an impression that Glasgow wants to do something and is being held back. Look to the East and Lothian Buses. Do you know what Glasgow lacks ... political leadership and the ability to do the day job.
@jonmolyneuxSGP@JimMonaghan10@GlasgowCC The SNP aren't listening. The SNP sat back and allowed Langside Hall to be closed. The SNP budget closed QP Glasshouse (not sure if Greens backed that budget or not). The SNP only seem to care about the election that's 11 months away.
@Glasgow_Times Actually, when @GlasgowCC councillors voted for an extra public holiday to celebrate Scotland being in the World Cup were they aware of the absence rate? Didn't they think additional holidays would add to the burden?
@Glasgow_Times Interestingly the reports for that committee mention nothing about absence issues and the risk is scored as medium. Yet across the Southside this is what food recycling looks like.
So it was confirmed in a planning committee this morning that the Hillhead Baptist Church, designed by architect Thomas Lennox Watson in 1883, is to be demolished. Tied at 3 votes for and 3 against, the Chair cast the deciding vote in favour of the applicant, Wemyss Properties.
@theglasgowbell How long ago was it that the leader of @GlasgowCC stood in front of @STVNews@BBCScotlandNews cameras talking about how the Council needed more control of listed buildings. They destroy our heritage whilst pretending to care.
@jackmiddleton95 Can I ask if this is true then why did @scotgov start spending the ScotWind money rather than invest it in a sovereign wealth fund? This just grievance politics. When presented with the exact scenario we spent the money.
@ScotNational Do you mean STV viewers? You come across as one of those ill-informed English regional newspapers that don't know we have STV in Scotland.
@Glasgow_Times Not surprised that @GlasgowCC isn't investing in Langside Hall. Given they have just announced the closure of Queen's Park Glasshouse it's clear that the Council have little interest in the Southside.
Now that the election is over @GlasgowCC have quietly announced that Queen's Park Glasshouse is to close. Don't worry though, the Council say they will maintain the building. Hopefully not the way they maintained grade A Langside Halls (causing Β£2m of damage). @LocalHilley
