Sales Manager @Headway. Early hire @CloserIQ. @Binghamtonu alum. Love the Knicks, Yankees, Giants. Will happily challenge you at ping pong🏓 or a dance off 🕺
@chrishlad Be accountable. If at the end of an interview you tell a candidate you'll get back to them by X date, actually do it. You'd be amazed how many orgs fail at this. Just like sales, hiring is all momentum/trust. Breach it & your odds of closing that candi drastically decrease
@jappleby To elaborate on the video point, that's part of our onboarding process. Before anyone starts we record a rapid fire (this or that) type video. The benefit is that the new hire can showcase their personality & others can make them feel welcomed sooner by referencing what they saw
@harry_sudock@jappleby 3 thoughts :) 1. During "schmooze" time in meetings mgrs make it a priority to make it comfortable for them to share. 2. New hires should take advantage of as many org social gatherings as possible. 3. A fun "meet xyz" video sent to the team on their first day goes a long way
@JuiceboxCA As an agency recruiter, I would highly recommend candidates provide info on their ideal next role & timeframes they may begin to explore. This way the recruiter knows when to reach out & can tailor roles. The market is so hot right now, it's difficult to prioritize passive candis
