No plan.
No vision.
No ideas.
Two months since Governor Hochul announced her "indefinite pause" she has offered no solutions to the crisis she created.
She has no idea how pizza gets delivered or how people get around New York City.
Congestion pricing now.
All the pause has done is made sure this settled law is a topic of conversation well after it would have faded from public discourse. It wasn’t going to be an issue in November until these fools made it one. Useless leadership.
Shocking that the state that is missing clean energy deadlines and canceling congestion pricing also didn't get any money for emission reductions. Absolute incompetence in our state government.
Joe Biden has been one of America’s most consequential presidents, as well as a dear friend and partner to me. Today, we’ve also been reminded – again – that he’s a patriot of the highest order.
Here’s my full statement: https://t.co/Bs2ZumFXxe
I feel for Joe, this was obviously not an easy process. He far exceeded my expectations as president and stepping aside now will help preserve that legacy 🫡
Jones also reminded everyone that studies from his day-job org, @CSSNYorg, have shown virtually no negative impact on "the working poor" from congestion pricing; however, of not doing it, "the risk is enormous"
Nothing about reducing traffic. No concrete proposals, just promises to “find the money.” And a timeline of the “coming months” rather than weeks even in light of the dire presentation today. Completely insufficient and a dereliction of her executive duties.
I know structural racism can seem pretty abstract, but Kathy Hochul canceling the subway extension to Harlem to appease wealthy suburban business owners is a pretty clear cut case of structural racism.

it’s honestly so funny that millions of normal people walk around Manhattan and take the subway every day while conservative snowflakes concoct this fantasyland of crime and danger around every corner
If you think you can replace $1 billion in congestion pricing revenue (let alone the congestion mitigation effects) by throwing money at fare enforcement, you’re not a serious person. It costs a lot in manpower dollars to enforce the fare beyond a certain level.
The northern extension of the 2nd Ave Subway runs through East Harlem, an area significantly less wealthy than the Phase 1 stations. There was a lot of political pressure to deliver Phase 2 for an area that badly needs these subway stops. This is what Hochul’s wrought.
36 yrs ago, London was a city where wooden escalators caught fire & the CBD was clogged w/ car traffic & fumes slowing down buses. Today trains follow each other in sec, congestion fees speed up buses & bought cycle lanes, & countless major projects opened while fixing old infra.
