@Kemper_Boyd2021 @BarryPierce To be honest, I hadn't watched it in ages and re-watched it recently and hadn't realised how funny a lot of the devil's lines were. I'm all anti-obnoxious, self-aware laughter at PCC, but 'The Exorcist' has some cracking comedic lines among all the horror and Karras' turmoil.

Lumière has a "no food in the screens" rule and today I had to tell a couple off who were making unspeakable noise with packages at 'Sentimental Value'.

@ShakeelHashim @LFFstubs The old projectionist at Regent Street Cinema came more than once to the front and gave a speech at the beginning of screenings. He used to work at the ICA too, if I remember correctly. At cinema 2, with the big glass window, he'd knock on it if he saw somebody being a dick.

@LFFstubs It's pure attention-seeking. He barely laughs during comedies, he only does it when other people don't so it can be heard. I remember a particularly raucous comedy where I had him close enough and he literally only laughed once at a moment when nobody else did.

@BBC Zero coordination, all done by bullet points. Also, leaving aside that all broadcasts are stored in the iPlayer for weeks, maybe leave the recaps for the recap show and try and cover as much live during the live broadcast as possible. You have 2 channels, use them separately.

Sterling job of the @BBC with the #Olympics coverage: first, showing the tennis in both BBC1 and the Extra channel rather than, you know, something else. Then, having the 400 medley final shown in Extra and repeated in BBC1 2min later while ignoring the women's butterfly final.
