@CKRaju14 I work only with applied math so approximate where appropriate and move on, real analysis is pointless for me. But Terrance Tao in Lex friedman's podcast said that for pure math guys it is easier to prover resusts using infinity? Which is why real analysis has some value?
@CKRaju14 Sir are you famaliar with Dr Normam Wildberger's (@n_wildberger) work? His long playlist on youtube about fundamental math questions wherein he criticises the use of dedekind cuts and cauchy sequences? Shows flaws in them both to construct Reals, espicially 'e' and pi.
@AnujKum82046422 Said by a person who understands neither Science nor Shastras. Let us expose your ignorance by asking you to demonstrate how shastras are pseudo science. For that you need to understand Shastras, pseudo science and science.
@Fintech03 Bhagvad Gita, which commentry!?By Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Madhvacharya? It has to be read along with the upanishads and bhramasutras. Prerequisites are basic Nyaya studies under a guru. Otherwise you end up equating corporate carrears to karma yog. Self help lol.
@Fintech03@AmazingVedas Why do you want to force fit Shastras and physics?? They each are consistent on their own. Shankara Advaita and Madhva dvaita/tattvavada do not challenge physics, and vice versa. Why compare dead systems like nyaya-vaishesheka (which are only paritally alive because of Vedanta)?
@MonsieurBarca10@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc Explain how kerb's cycle works over twitter to a someone who does not know organic chem. That is the equivivalent of what you are asking me to do. Study vyakrana and nyaya for 5 years, then let us talk.
@EnlightenedCoco@theliverdoc In the 18th, 19th century these discussions were happening about quckery. Guess you have not read much about the history of medicine. Did you know eugenics was considered scientific. And don't get me started on how poorly medicine studied women. Discuss facts, not someone's age.
@PVmysore@Andy21441 Is it a treatise on the comparitive epistimiologies and metaphysics and efficacy of western medicine vs ayurveda? Written by an expert in both fields?
@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc As another dude in this thread said, it cannot be scientific. Sure if it needs publication in some shit rag of journal to be a science who cares. Why do we need your validation? As it is medical claims are merely stamp collection with a trial that has just 100 people.
@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc Lol, ask Nature to publish the remedy that gave me relief or next time you have stomach ache, we can discuss the remedy and see how you feel after treatment. Untill then bask in mediocrity and physics envy.
@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc Lol I can explain how a plane flies using Navier Stokes, why should a pilot do so? In medicine no one can explain anything using first principles, simply because the field is complex. And you started talking about a model, not me. I am just exposing your ignorance and arrogance.
@itsajin@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc Well said! Finally some nuance. Even in science, medicine is nothing compared to fundamental physics. Medicine is at best stamp collection which works probablistically.
@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc Prove from first principles that western medicine works, remember western medicine is based on biochemistry, which is based on quantumn mechanics. Now use the Schoridinger equation and show me how fever is treated using western medicine.
@itsajin@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc I am asking for nuance, if liver injuries occur. Investigate that stuff and stop it. However what level or arrogance to say an entire field is bogus (without even knowing the basics). By that standard medicine must be garbage because of Eugenics or how poorly it studied women.
@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc I felt better after an ayurvedic treatment. I objectibely felt better. The same treatment was administered to more than 1000 people, much bigger in number than your so called clinical trials. Now what?
@Arrhythmia2x@theliverdoc A patient with stomach ache felt better after ayurvedic treatment, how will you respond to that using western medicine? Remember you can't say it is just placebo.
