But if you look at the history of the English in Ireland, and some of the things we did, it doesn’t come as any surprise

@watergypsi I honestly believe the English Canals are the most beautiful man-made objects in the world. They come from an industrial past, were a key logistical asset, (albeit for not that many years), & yet now, blend into nature with the odd reminder of their industrial heritage - special!
