The crypto ecosystem is growing faster than the internet in its earliest days. However, we still have ineffective on-ramps to crypto, and the ethereum ecosystem has high barriers to entry due to txn fees (gas costs). If we want to bring a billion people on-chain, rollups...
@noahsfriedman Once cannabis finally does get federally legalized, it will be interesting to contrast the similarities and differences of two industries that were at one time federally illegal.
@MetaverseKing3 When used incorrectly, social media can cause feelings of isolation, jealousy and competition with people you don’t know, who aren’t even portraying their true life. A huge problem for younger girls, who try to keep up with unrealistic body standards.
@mary_liuuu Low key there seems to be a LinkedIn crypto crowd. It’s probably less densely populated with crypto content and the organic reach on LI is much better than the organic reach on Twitter. Maybe LI is being overlooked.
@OlimpioCrypto For what reason? B/c an airdrop can incentivize more traction to L2's, which begets more building?
Then again, protocols stand to benefit off traction as well so there must be a more clear reason.
@OlimpioCrypto Do you think projects will delay airdrops until market conditions become more clear? Most of the airdrops you hypothesize about will be governance tokens. Price is not super important for a gov token in theory so no reason to delay, but in practice, projects want high prices.
@YirenLu As rekt as my portfolio is, there is something satisfying about returning to an environment where good business principles actually matter. The dichotomy between hype beasts/moonbois from true operators will become apparent. Let's see who actually knows how to run a business.
@mary_liuuu Yeah with that much hype/publicity/volatility/trading volume and such a low price, some weird stuff is bound to happen. Someone must be making a killing trading it.
The world looks increasingly less multi chain after this Luna meltdown + other L1 saga. As bullish as ever on the future of eth, especially as L2’s become more prominent. Time & time again, we’ve seen the dangers of centralized L1’s + chains with cult like figures at the helm.
My GF asked if this was a forever thing so I minted a picture of us at Horseshoe Bend onto the blockchain and told her it has to be. She said: "That's so sweet. Isn't that really expensive with gas and whatnot?" Little does she know, I did it on @zksync for 39 cents. #powerofL2s
