Every move in XAUUSD isn't random.
Gold reacts to: • USD strength 💵 • Interest rates 📊 • Inflation (CPI) 📉 • Market fear 🧠
Learning why price moves is more important than guessing where it will go.
One step closer to becoming a profitable trader. 🚀

XAUUSD is coiling right at a decision point — next move could be explosive 👀
Gold pulled back from the $4,140 supply zone into a liquidity pocket near $4,032–4,006. Price is now consolidating around $4,056, and the projected path suggests one more sweep into support before smart money reloads longs toward the next leg up. Watch for a liquidity grab below $4,032 — that's often the trigger for the real move.
🔴 Support Zone: $4,006 – $4,032
🎯 Target 1: $4,090
🎯 Target 2: $4,140+
Do you think Gold sweeps the support zone first, or breaks straight into Target 1? 👇

To the cretins on this app telling me #StormGoretti was "overhyped" or "just a bit of wind" or a "normal winters day", watch this video from St Austell yesterday evening 🏠💨
Good evening everyone
What a truly exceptional and dangerous evening of weather we’ve just experienced across Cornwall. This storm has delivered some extreme wind speeds, and this is very much a high-impact event, not just another windy night.
We’ve received credible reports of gusts exceeding 123mph near the Padstow area, with widespread reports of 90–108mph gusts across much of West Cornwall. Our own KWT weather station recorded a very strong 93mph, before also taking a bit of a hit itself. These figures put this storm firmly into the damaging and destructive category.
Unsurprisingly, we’re now seeing the impacts on the ground: 🌳 Numerous trees down, some blocking roads
⚡ Power lines brought down across roads
🏘️Widespread disruption being reported
🔌 Over 45,000 power cuts affecting around 85 areas at the last count
If you are planning to travel in the next few hours, please think very carefully. If your journey isn’t essential, delay it if you can. Debris, fallen trees, damaged power lines, and flooding in places make travel hazardous, especially in the dark and during ongoing strong gusts.
We also want to be open and honest with you all there may be fewer updates from me tomorrow. We’ve suffered some damage ourselves, and our weather station has taken a knock too, so we’ll need time to make things safe and assess everything properly. Safety always comes first.
Thank you, as always, for the huge number of reports, messages, photos, and support. Even when we can’t reply to everyone, it really does help us build the bigger picture of what’s happening across Cornwall.
Please continue to stay safe, check on neighbours where possible, and avoid exposed areas and the coastline.
More updates when we can.
Kind regards,
KWT Dave
I can’t quite describe how scary these winds are 😩
Power keeps going off, trampoline poles banging against the window, if it holds it will be a miracle 😔
Won’t be getting a lot of sleep tonight! 😩

Looking at the current radar, I’m more optimistic about snow further south on the back edge, assuming the precipitation holds together.
Cold air undercutting very evident.
@fergieweather Assume we’re approximately in the ‘eye’ of Goretti currently then? Quite a different picture over in Carmarthenshire at the moment from some vids posted on here!
