Cracking afternoon at Dungeness. I went down for the Greenish Warbler found early this morning by @SBO_Jason. Whilst watching it, two Bee-eaters were found on wires at Kerton Pit. They went on a loop of the estate, returning to wires along the pit. Ropey pics! @DungenessBO
First spell of warm weather and decent overnight temperatures and I caught Phtheochroa schreibersiana last night here in Rainham. Looks to be the first VC15 record since 1923. A couple were caught near Cobham (VC16) in 2024, so perhaps it is making a comeback… @mothsinkent
I twitched @BEACHYBIRDER Eastern Subalpine Warbler today and it showed well occasionally but never sat still for long enough to even lift my camera up! On the walk back up, a Weasel ran up one of the footpaths and I managed a few record shots….
https://t.co/3PngbhsUy9 @DungenessBO you forgot the 14 Gull sp and 2 Carrion Crows on the beach for the 3/5 log! 🤣🤣🤣
@AndrewRLawson1, @SBO_Jason , Steve Gale, Josh…

Popped up to Dunwich Heath in Suffolk today for the cracking wee Red-tailed (Turkestan) Shrike. Great scope views and I managed enough of a compilation of record shots to capture the main features.
