@ianssmart What is worrying, the Greens either knew the rules on his immigration and have ignored the law or they didn’t vet candidates well enough. Neither are great. Worst part of it, this highlights their decision making and they are making laws in this country
@RideoutTim You can’t guarantee this as transition from UK is a negotiation. You aren’t doing the negotiation so this is just your opinion and you should confirm that to people. Otherwise you are just lying
@paulhutcheon Maybe focus on running the country as best they can then? The impact and transition to Indy isn’t important at present. Make the transition easy by having a country running well
@londonHenryGB If you borrowed, you knew the risks and cost and still did it. The biggest issue is whether university education is being funded the right way so it’s open to all based on ability not ability to pay however it’s always a balance.
@ruth_wishart@williamnhutton No there isn’t. If there was, turnout last week would be higher alongside the vote share for SNP and greens. The SNP ran a campaign on winning an overall majority to prove the strength of Indy but fell short.
@joshpizpom Why? If people are visually impaired and can’t see the writing or the logo, they could ask for help. If they can’t read, then one different party wouldn’t have made a decision. If they’re dyslexic, they can also get help.
@LesleyRiddoch Yes but John shimmy said it had to be a SNP majority. He hasn’t got that. So was he lying or just bending the truth now? It’s the reason why he’ll never get full support for Indy or be able to convince people of the need for another divisive referendum at present
@EllardKing But you’re ignoring the fact the capital amount has gone down and values have increased potentially improving LTV levels and therefore the rate that a mortgage can be fixed at.
@Frances_Coppola Government should, in theory, implement their manifestos by delivering the pledges and promises made during the campaign. Good and bad policies.
