@parthaskar Got the grammar wrong. As someone benefiting from your efforts to benefit the UK (diabetes) public. I call bullshit. Though I guess that's already known. They're getting more desperate?
@parthaskar@RCPhysicians You've been talked into shenanigans by people that know you will be a catalyst for change. You're just the kind of catalyst that's quite directed. You've got this. The centre will hold.
@TheColorOfJess Be brave, ask questions. Be curious. If people are offended that's their problem, not yours. Ignore those types. Curiosity is good. Go nuts
@KirstieLouCarr Hope you're back to running soon. That standing still and taking it slow bullshit is well.. Bullshit. Take it easy and wishing you an awesome recovery. You'll be back at the fun shenanigans soon enough
@RenzaS Nope, I'm the outlier. Though plenty other weird anomalies from rest of family but enough traits to confirm the milkman is in the clear. Weirdo since conception
Just wondering, any one else found they really don't get hungry as such and have to remember to eat. Not that I don't enjoy food, just not really finding physically signaled to eat. Can do a day or so before I note if no one else is supervising. Not helpful with the running
@danamlewis I'm going to need to crib some run routes from you for when I'm there at end of month. Though maybe I'll have to explore for myself since I'll be staying on the east side (Bellevue)
@AndMyT1Dragon @OrlahealthPA The day I got rid of Lantus was a day of joy. Hateful stuff, took levemir over that nasty stuff quite happily till I moved to pump
@danamlewis Oh that one was fun too. Had that before T1 though it kinda "came and went". In the end was on max dose of carbimazole. Block replacement therapy was only just coming in and they decided I was a poor candidate so nuke pill it was
@parthaskar@PrimaryCareNHS Genuine question. Where would these folks stand legally if they followed through on this threat and some harm occurred to the Pwd due to running out of meds? Maybe that question should be put to those issuing these types of letters?
@James_Ridgeway_@Emma_ST27 Remember to backup your settings and save off your phone "cloud storage" after each objective complete. Especially when you fully compete ๐
@Tims_Pants@diabetespc If it works for some, happy days. I've never been able to tolerate it for long though. There will be words if it stays getting crammed down my throat from that side too.
But like I said, works for some so happy days for them
@Tims_Pants Just to close the loop. On way back to UK. Only one spare set in my bag, less said about other meds the better. Not happy with the universe and wish I could have stayed but I guess might be heading back soon. Will make a go bag
Reality check for the day. If you're "normal" & have family emergency on other side of the planet and fuck up with your packing. You may smell bad. If you're T1d, you might not make it out alive. When we say we have hard limits. We're not messing. It's not just about the insulin
@Tims_Pants Family emergency in SA and was out the door at very short notice so couldn't pack all I normally would. Had 2 set failures and so now running low. If I have more then might be an issue but no way I could stay longer if circumstances somehow need it
