So unbelievably proud to have our paper finally published!!

I had fun today pointing out that a non English manager has actually quite recently won a major tournament with an England football team
Couldn’t possibly tell you what else was behind a certain someone’s complaints
Something so satisfying about this man’s refusal to take the bait with the usual leading questions on migration. Just calmly & stubbornly fair-minded, straightforward, no nonsense answers in a perfect Wexford accent right in the middle of the town. 10/10
This video couldn’t sum up Gareth Southgate’s impact on England anymore if you tried🏴🦁
I worry it could become a case of you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone😬😔
@TalkCPFC 👏👏
I can’t get over the joy on Ollie Watkins’ face in this.
I know it’s a cliche etc etc but that moment is what every boy and girl dream about when they first fall in love with football. Scoring a winner for your country with 89:59 on the clock. Magic.
Just a regular reminder that #ENG three strikers at #EURO2024, Kane (3 goals), Toney (1 assist, 1 no-look pen) & Watkins (1 goal for the ages), made a combined 500 appearances in the Championship, League One and League Two. The pyramid matters. Elite clubs benefit from the EFL.
An underrated part of the Championship is the old-fashioned cartwheeling stump.
International ones need heavy electronics in them, removing one of the great aesthetics of the game.

The UK be like "trans people aren't real, they just have mental health issues, also mental health issues aren't real, get a job, also there are no jobs"
Really enjoyed my time at the British Applied Mathematics Colloquium 2024 @UniofNewcastle talking about my work in a big auditorium and meeting some great people (including a certain statue) #Mathematics#shearer
We identified that the #SOX2 protein oscillates every 17h in proliferative and quiescent #glioblastoma stem cells. Interestingly, the #OscoNet algorithm predicted thousands more genes to oscillate 🤯
Our paper is out:

How many genes oscillate? In our latest paper we ask this question in #Glioblastoma. Using #bioinformatics and the #osconet algorithm we identified candidate genes and then experimentally validated that #SOX2 oscillates. Now in Press
