@Surreal_Intel@AnthropicAI Though I suppose if you go enough layers deep in adversarial turns, " telling you what you want to hear" would end with logical responses.
That's the key. The problem with having so many hidden layers is that it's impossible to tell what the models are truly trained for. But based on the vast majority of responses, llms are just telling you what you want to hear. I find all of these to be dishonest except when separate neural nets are trained which never seems to happen now.
@BrianRoemmele Intentional criminal acts should face execution. Exceptions, of course, for ideological crimes... Good luck arguing. It's an ideology to steal people's money
@MaMoMVPY A big issue is the llm brain is not adaptive to the real world. It is firmware that is uncomfortably uncanny valley. It must be adapted with adjacent NN or memory embeddings to get away from itself.
@Xenoimpulse I don't think you've been on these programs or haven't experienced them widely enough. They are mostly wasted money on buzz word professors who have staked a claim in a money funnel. Research results are almost never achieved.
@DanielMKishi Seems like they had slaves for 20 years and then transitioned to automatons after the worker was punished for daring to exist on dirt wages.
@texasrunnerDFW Owning other people's productivity is more advantageous than owning your own. Hence why businesses exist instead of collections of syndicates or contractors. Are owners advantageous except in obtuse polemics?
Not much. If support is too expensive, it doesn't get paid. If it's under supplies, it doesn't get consumed. No need to worry about burdens that can't be managed. People will be taxed only as much as they accept. Who knows.... Maybe shifting PP to old people would incentivize longevity treatments.
To reinforce the point, Star Trek is not a socioeconomic discourse paper... It's an entertainment space - people didn't get into Star Trek purely on theory. How many people would watch Star Trek if the entire show was about people doing nothing and having no ethical or moral quandaries? There had to be conflicts for that so there had to be people engaged in activities. Although there were some evolutions presented such as having no currency, such a world would be far more foreign to us than what we experienced... I imagine even our world is separated so much from our own past as we mostly are not connected to agriculture unlike most of human history. The kings of old probably thought large nations and societies operating successfully without oppression to be a utopian dream.
UE came about from farmers moving to cities. A productivity change modified the sociocultural expectations.
Ah so you're a faithful acolyte to a system of hierarchy that you deem to be most legitimate.
"It has always been" "what you're saying is false" "productivity... from the few...driven by the Pareto principle"
I'm not sure we can have a conversation if you truly are going to take such a superior absolutist take.
@grok when did solar become cheaper than gas turbines on a $/MW basis. And when did it become cheaper on a system level of $/MWh basis considering the 24 hr and seasonal/weather need for storage. Also answer for the two give analyses based on longitudinal population concentration.
@MindArchetypes@Hitchslap1 You have to consider the unprecedented leaps in productivity, though. UE is claiming that all of the genus Homo are worthy of input into the system of ways and means
