This is the story of Calvin Graham, a remarkable individual who made a significant impact during World War II. Following the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, Calvin made the courageous decision to enlist in the military, despite being only 12 years old. Overcoming this obstacle, he managed to deceive his way through the enlistment process and was eventually stationed at Pearl Harbor on the USS South Dakota.

During the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal, Calvin served as a loader for an anti-aircraft gun. While delivering a message to an officer, he was struck by shrapnel. Despite his injuries, Calvin displayed tremendous bravery by assisting in the rescue of other wounded soldiers, ensuring their safe return. As a result of his valor, he was awarded both the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart.

Calvin's true age was revealed when he returned to Texas without permission to attend his grandmother's funeral. This led to his confinement in a military prison, known as a brig, for a period of three months. However, his mother exposed his actual age, and his sister threatened to inform the local newspapers if he was not released. Their efforts were successful, resulting in his release from the brig, although his medals were revoked, and he was discharged from service.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Calvin's life continued to unfold in unique ways. He married at the age of 14, became a father at 15, and experienced a divorce at 17. Calvin then re-enlisted for the Korean War, but his service was cut short once again due to a back injury that resulted in his discharge.

Calvin spent several years dedicated to clearing his military record. Eventually, President Carter reinstated all his previously revoked medals, with the exception of the Purple Heart. However, President Reagan later ensured that Calvin received full disability benefits for his service.

Finally, in 1994, Calvin achieved the long-awaited resolution of his journey when he was presented with his Purple Heart. In a photograph, he proudly holds an image of his World War II enlistment photo, representing the remarkable journey he undertook during his military service.

Why Joe Biden nailed it today and why Republicans should be afraid.

As we approach the anniversary of J6 it has been clear that Trump thus far has basically been insulated from members on the right and from the media.

What Joe Biden said today was nah bro we ain’t having that.

Joe Biden put America on the defense both left and right.

At least 9 people died during or shortly after the rioting and Trump called these insurrectionists patriots… and he said he would pardon all of them.

Biden wants America to know that Trump does not care about America but only himself… he will insert himself as a King or dictator or both should he win.

His reminder that George Washington chose to not make himself king and he chose to leave office when he could have remained president until he died… Biden reminded us of the ideals left behind by Washington while also reminding us that Trump and his people were not looking to uphold the will of the people but rather deny the will of the people.

He also let it all out for Dems, Independents, and Moderates that America at its best was two parties working together. He questioned who are we going to be. “Are we going to rise to the perils of compromising democracy?” Are we going to sacrifice our Democracy to put Trump back in power?

J6 was not about supporting the Constitution, but about destroying the Constitution.

We are reminded that democracy and freedom are on the ballot and if we want it we will have to vote for it.

What Joe Biden did today was show that he has the 🥎🥎to fight Trump when very few others do… his message today was that he is someone who will not succumb to Trumps fear and his desire to reign darkness over America… he is asking us to have the same set of brass 🥎🥎.

BREAKING: Donald Trump is rocked by a massive scandal as it's exposed that his team directly orchestrated the illegal fake elector certificates in Michigan — proving that they had a direct hand in the coup attempt.

It really doesn't get much worse than this...

According to internal documents reviewed by The Detroit News, senior Trump advisor Boris Epshteyn received an email from Kenneth Chesebro — one of the co-defendants in the Georgia election case — stating that the plan was bolster the sham claims that the election was rigged in order to "void the results favoring" Joe Biden.

In other words, they explicitly discussed undermining a free and fair election. They were willing to destroy our democracy to entrench their own power.

On the same day, John Eastmen — another co-defendant — told Epshteyn that they needed to keep Biden below the 270 electoral votes threshold in order to punt the election to the House.

"If the Republicans there hold true and vote with their state delegations, Trump should win a bare majority of the states," wrote Eastman.

The fake elector documents in question were filed under different names of Republican officials in an effort to make them more convincing.

These people are rank criminals and every single one of them belongs behind bars. More importantly, they need to be convinced to reveal how much Trump himself knew about all of this...

“Today my daughter changed her profile picture. After maybe 5 minutes I get a text..” I didn’t know she was dating a black boy, did you?

It took me all day to think up a response, which I didn’t send personally but thought I would share for anyone else that “may not know”

Yes in fact I did know, but the color of his skin doesn’t define who he is. What does define who is he is how he treats my daughter.

I see my daughter dating a boy that comes to my house and shows me nothing but respect (a big deal in my book).

It’s always Yes Ma’am, No Ma’am, we talk about football and baseball, he tells me bye when he leaves, and has not once shown me a lack of manners or respect.
I see my daughter dating a boy who treats her good. He takes her on dates, to ballgames, out to eat..not to a club or partying on the weekends.

I see my daughter dating a boy who takes her to church with him. Every Sunday. He plays in the band, she sits with his family. How many young men these days make church a priority?

None of the others have.

He doesn’t hit her, cuss her, lie to her, or make her cry. Would I rather her date a white boy that did, to keep from her dating another race? Absolutely not.
So that’s my response to the question I was asked.

And I know people have their own opinion, but at the end of the day, the fact that my daughter has someone that loves her and treats her like a queen makes me happy. That’s something I’ve never had in my life and I’m glad she does.”
