There is something called parliament for such debates. However you have been focused on wasting away everyone's time there by creating all sorts of ruckus instead of carrying out meaningful debates.

It is sad to note that despite having served 22 years as parliamentarian, the child in you still seems to be incapable of grasping it's true purpose. Maybe you can ask the seniors of your party like @Shashitharoor or @manishtewari on how to make good use of parliament as a Leader of Opposition instead of making these irrelevant tweets to show your bravado

Rahul ji, you ask the Prime Minister to choose a venue for a debate. There is already one: Parliament, where you happen to be the LoP.

Just yesterday, Home Minister Shri @AmitShah offered a special session to debate SIR and EVMs. Why not show the same enthusiasm for a debate in Parliament that you show while issuing challenges on social media?

Demanding answers also carries an obligation to hear them.

There have been several occasions when you and your party have walked out of Parliament while the government was responding to your allegations. How do you claim to be so eager for a debate when you don’t even stay to hear the other side?

It doesn’t stop at walkouts. You and the INDI Alliance have repeatedly disrupted proceedings, leading to entire sittings being washed out. If you are so keen on debating, why not allow Parliament to function in the first place?

And then there’s the mock Parliament you recently held at the Congress President’s residence. Frankly, that was more a ‘mockery of Parliament’ than a ‘mock Parliament’. You found the time and enthusiasm for that exercise. Surely, the real Parliament deserves at least as much.

You speak endlessly about protecting democracy and the Constitution. But that respect should also reflect in how you treat the institutions they have established.

As for the issues you frivolously raise, bring specific allegations and evidence to back them up. Simply throwing together a long list of accusations doesn’t make your case any stronger. As LoP, you are expected to show some seriousness and responsibility.

You say, “Daro mat.”
Then bring the facts, face the scrutiny and stay to hear the answers. In the House, uphold the standards of debate you demand from others.

Companies all over the world successfully do business with India. As you know, foreign partnership starts with respect for the country and its leadership. Rahul lacks respect for both his own country and PM Modi. He is bad company.

And “the other guy” is one of the greatest and most powerful leaders in the world today and will be governing India a long time. You want a license? I suggest shifting your public messages to the attention of PM @narendramodi and not wannabees like Rahul.

कल नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी जी ने प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी एवं भारत की विदेश नीति पर जो टिप्पणी की है, वो अत्यन्त निम्नस्तरीय और निन्दाजनक तो है ही, साथ ही मुझे व्यक्तिगत रूप से बहुत पीड़ा देने वाली भी है।

अपने लम्बे राजनैतिक जीवन में, मैंने किसी भी नेता प्रतिपक्ष को, चाहे वो सुषमा जी या अरूण जेटलीजी रहे हो, अथवा अटल जी और आडवाणी जी रहे हो, या फिर अटलजी की सरकार में डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह हों या सोनिया गांधी जी रही हो, ऐसा अशोभनीय आचरण कल्पना से परे था।

ऐसा आचरण भारत में स्वस्थ्य लोकतंत्र के लिए, एक गंभीर खतरे का संकेत है। राहुल गांधी जी के मन में, प्रधानमंत्री जी के प्रति चाहे जितनी भी कुण्ठा भरी हो, ऐसी अभद्र टिप्पणी सर्वथा अस्वीकार्य है। विशेषकर तब जबकि मोदीजी के रूप में एक ऐसे प्रधानमंत्री, जिन्होंने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भारत का मान बढ़ाया और विकसित भारत का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया, ऐसे नेता के प्रति ऐसी अभद्र टिप्पणी, हर भारतीय के मन को, अन्दर से कष्ट देने वाली है।

मैं कांग्रेस पार्टी से यह भी कहना चाहूंगा, कि ऐसी भाषा और आचरण के बाद, क्या वे लोग अब, लाल, बाल, पाल से लेकर गांधीजी नेहरूजी, सरदार पटेल, सुभाष बाबू, राजेन्द्र बाबू से लेकर शास्त्री जी, नरसिम्हा राव जी से लेकर प्रणव मुखर्जी जी तक जैसे विराट व्यक्तित्वों की विरासत का दावा कर सकते हैं?

मैं कह सकता हूं कि, आज इस आचरण से राहुल गांधी ने न सिर्फ प्रधानमंत्री मोदीजी का अपमान किया है बल्कि भारत की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रतिष्ठा का अपमान किया है, लोकतंत्र और नेता प्रतिपक्ष के पद की गरिमा को तार-तार कर दिया है। मैं तो यह कल्पना भी नही कर सकता कि जिसके नाम के आगे गांधी शब्द लगा हो, वह ऐसा शर्मनाक बयान दे सकता है!

PM is traveling abroad to secure investments and ensure energy security in this period of economic gloom due to various global wars. It is one thing to know that, as a contender of PM post over the last 16 years, you don't have the intellectual capacity to understand this. However, I am intrigued to see your irritation towards promoting a reputed Indian brand (Parle). Is it because you don't want Indian brands to be showcased on the global stage?
