Got an email from @amnesty asking ‘What do you think of these stickers?’ linking to a page about ‘equality, inclusion and safety for everyone’ and ‘a kinder world’ 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Here’s what I think:
🟰 Equality ≠ erasing women as a sex-class and replacing female specific language with dehumanising terms like ‘menstruator’ and ‘uterus owner’.
🏅 Inclusion ≠ women being excluded from their own sports, awards and opportunities by men.
🚺 Safety ≠ men in women’s bathrooms, prisons, refuges or other female-only spaces and services.
💗 Kindness ≠ forcing women to see and treat men as women.

“The moment you have debased yourself for shaming women & girls for having boundaries & something called consent in their lives, you do not deserve to be representing citizens.”
The final installment of reviewing the stupidest ad campaign of all time with @MoiraDeemingMP.
Hi Caroline. Whilst I understand how important it is to your cause to cast me as a villainous bigot, I can assure you that my position doesn’t stem from any of the feelings you think I have towards the trans community - but from my passion to preserve and protect the rights of women. You’ve interpreted my defence of women, and the injustices that have been levelled against anyone who speaks out on these issues, as an attack on the trans community - but we are simply wanting the truth, and our birthrights to be recognised by the law and the Fourth Estate.
Women’s rights are human rights. Trans rights are human rights but your biology, needs, history, trials and tribulations are vastly different to those of women. The attempt to conflate the two is what has created this chaos.
There was a quote in your article from 2022 that struck me:
“To everyone speaking about the ban under the guise of 'fairness', what I'd like to say is - you don't see us, nor hear us, so please don't speak up for us as though you know us when we're not given the same opportunity to speak for ourselves about our own lives as you are.”
You’ll have to forgive me for acknowledging that there is an enormous amount of irony when you say that you’re “not given the opportunity to speak for our ourselves about your own lives as you are”. Your article was published by Mamamia - “a women’s media company with a purpose: to make the world a better place for women and girls.” You also appeared in the same segment I did, produced by Channel 10’s The Project, in which I was the only person advocating for the rights of women, while the rest supported the trans community and criticised my stance, and that of World Netball.
The reason my views on the inclusion of trans participants in sport exists is because you have been seen and heard - by our politicians, the legal system and by a large proportion of the sporting organisations who continue to allow participants to compete in the category of their “affirmed gender”.
You have been seen by national and global brands like Seafolly, Adidas, Nike, Bud Light and L’Oreal Paris who have used trans and gender diverse representatives to spruik their products - products that were designed for women.
You have also been heard by vital healthcare organisations who apologise to your community for using the term cervix, instead of “front hole”. As a mother who breastfed for four years, I am now referred to as a “chest-feeder” and a “person who menstruates” while everyone is rushing to call you a woman.
When members of your community speak, you are encouraged by politicians, sporting organisations and companies. When members of my community speak about the importance of preserving sex-based rights, many of whom are sexual assault victims, women of Jewish Orthodox, Muslim and Christian faiths, mothers, fathers, men and girls - they are dragged to court, silenced, threatened with the loss of their livelihood, called “bigots”, “transphobes”, “Nazis” and cancelled.
I couldn’t even get the CEO of my beloved sport to simply acknowledge the existence of girls and women in his response to me because the organisation is more concerned about offending your community than they are mine.
I have never advocated for the exclusion of trans people in sport or society and never will. Given your history with sport, imagine if all the energy you channeled into denigrating women like me was redirected positively back into your community to connect with sporting organisations and create teams for trans participants, tournaments, Cups and even a category at the Olympics. Your triumphs, trophies, records and history wouldn’t be subjected to constant scrutiny and women who have worked their entire lives to thrive in sport would no longer be disadvantaged.
But, for as long as our differences in opinion, and the conflation of our rights continue to exist, rest assured that I will fight to make my voice heard, just as you have yours.
@brittanygadoury Shows how easy it is to manipulate people and pit them against each other. At the end of the day he and his family have issues just like everyone else’s, he’s just playing the victim in his. Every family has a victim 🤪#moveonharry
@nathan_s4@Jakie_1993@AdelaideUnited@gomvfc Really? Adelaide fans are awful. Went to a Melbourne game and have never been so embarrassed to be South Australian. Had to remove myself and my children and sit with Victory fans as it was safer
