For my Honours thesis I wrote on how the red meat industry seemed to have learned from the mistakes of tobacco's denialist campaigns, acknowledging the need to address livestock emissions. Sadly, 8 years on it's clear that the denialist campaign has begun https://t.co/R6VF7hpyG8
Important lessons for Australia here. Temporary carbon offsets used to excuse real, permanent emissions.
Not good for a continent that burns.
