I just spent 2 incredible weeks in Italy and it is so frustrating to come back to the U.S…

I literally ate bread at every meal, dessert multiple times per day, and generally ate way more than I do in the U.S.

🚨🚨 Head of the EPA Lee Zeldin says the Biden Admin sent $160 million dollars to a Canadian electric vehicles company. They pocketed the money, didn’t send the school busses promised and then declared bankruptcy

Lee Zeldin, who was sworn in as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator on January 29, 2025, has publicly accused the Biden administration of mismanaging federal funds through the EPA's Clean School Bus program, specifically regarding a Canadian electric bus manufacturer.

The company in question is Lion Electric, based in Quebec, Canada. Zeldin stated that $160 million in "tax dollars" was awarded to the company.

Zeldin has alleged that the Biden administration "shoveled" money to the company, which then "pocketed" it and went into bankruptcy while failing to deliver buses, describing it as a "waste and abuse" of taxpayer funds.

According to Zeldin, roughly $95 million in school buses were left undelivered across 55 school districts. He further noted that the company went into bankruptcy protection with U.S. cash.

Reports in February 2025 indicated that Lion Electric did enter bankruptcy protection and that its new investors informed school districts that they would not honor existing warranties. 🚨🚨
