Looking for a bubblegum pop/rock song for the closing credits of my upcoming short film, “Heartless.”

“Sugar Sugar” by the Archies is the vibe (but that one is sadly out of budget). Would love to find a band/musician who’s up for licensing a song to a student film!

@composerSD Thank you! I’ll check those out. I’ve been talking to secondhandsongs about licensing the original but they said it would be $4K, which is about the whole budget of the film. 😞 But I’ll look into the other options you mentioned!

"Heartless" is a dark comedy about a woman who doesn't have a heartbeat and has to escape a coroner, crash her own funeral, and open up to her wife to find her missing heart.
