🇷🇺 Russia's Most Feared Attack Helicopter Is Being Wiped Out

The war in Ukraine is taking a devastating toll on Russia's military hardware.

Nearly 70 Ka-52 "Alligator" attack helicopters, one of Russia's most advanced battlefield assets, have been lost since the invasion began.

That means close to half of Russia's pre war Ka-52 fleet has been destroyed, damaged, abandoned, or captured.

Built to hunt tanks and support ground assaults, the Ka-52 was supposed to be a game changer.
Instead, Ukraine's air defenses, drones, and battlefield attrition are steadily bleeding Russia's armored and aviation strength.

Every lost Ka-52 is another multimillion dollar blow that can't be replaced overnight.

🇺🇦 The war isn't just costing Russia manpower, it's steadily eroding the elite equipment Moscow relied on to dominate the battlefield.

A tragic accident occurred in the Dominican Republic last evening. A Gulfstream G200, tail number N318JF, departed La Romana International Airport for Austin, Texas, but declared an emergency after takeoff. The crew attempted to return to LRM, but the jet touched down hard on Runway 29, veered off the runway, and erupted into flames.

Both pilots, Erick Javier Diago and Rudy Ghazal, lost their lives. No passengers were on board.

Former MLB star Yadier Molina revealed that the aircraft was scheduled to pick up him, his family, and friends in Texas for a trip to Puerto Rico, and offered condolences to the families of the pilots.
