Am not sure whether my ilk shouldn’t sit this one out but as everyone has suddenly shifted after three Brits have been killed by the IDF - as opposed to the 14 Brits killed and three taken hostage by Hamas on 7/10 - here goes.
The arms business is a dreadful trade and war is not the answer etc but.
The UK supplies less than 1% of Israel's arms.
Israel’s enemies are the UK’s enemies.
If we want to see Israelis and Palestinians one day make peace, Hamas must be destroyed, militarily first.
An arms embargo sends the opposite message and won’t achieve anything apart from to encourage terrorists and the Axis of Resistance.
I just don’t think that’s much of a result.

@WatesGroup dear Wates. Your people installed a faulty smoke alarm in my mother’s flat and she has been struggling with bleeps dim them since Thursday. We raised it as an emergency job but were told no one can attend until 20th. I am sorry but this is unacceptable.
