Learned about something called a "glimmer" recently. It's the opposite of a trigger. A tiny moment that makes you feel good. Coffee hitting right. Sun on your face. Your dog losing its mind when you walk in the door. Most of us are trained to scan for threats all day. Flip that. Start scanning for glimmers. Same exact life starts feeling completely different.
Happy International Women’s Day! Just 100 years ago, women couldn’t access contraception, couldn’t open a bank account without a husband, and were largely excluded from the medical research that determined how drugs and treatments work.
Today we still have to fight to be believed about our pain, our symptoms, and our right to control our own bodies. Progress didn’t just happen. Women fought like hell for it.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay
Here’s to the women who lift others up, speak truth, show kindness, and keep moving forward, even on the difficult days.
The world is better because of you
In times of stress, our brains may be “stuck” in fear, anxiety, or anger. Doing a nonverbal activity like coloring with a loved one can help you reconnect, get “unstuck”, and make something beautiful. https://t.co/w7tG1WSGIx 🖍️💛💚
Good morning and welcome to marvellous marmalade Monday
Never underestimate your resilience. It’s carried you through days you thought you couldn’t face, lifted you after moments that felt heavy, and quietly reminded you that you’re stronger than you realise.
someone once told me “emotional intelligence is the discipline of sitting with a feeling long enough to understand it before you hand it to someone else” and that honestly changed how i move.
I had no idea #BadBunny collaborated with a @UConn alum historian. This interview makes my teacher heart soar. Let's educate ourselves!Especially those of us who don't speak Spanish, aren't of Puerto Rican heritage, or don't follow music.

🚨 Pete Buttigieg nails it:
“In a country that amended the Constitution to ban beer… then fixed it when we realized it was dumb… surely we can amend it again to say corporations aren’t people and money isn’t speech.”
Translation:
We corrected Prohibition.
We can correct Citizens United.
Democracy shouldn’t be for sale.
It’s odd that the religious right is so upset about a halftime show that celebrated marriage, love, community, small business, hard work, and family. 🤔
