@kariebookish There was a pair of colourwork socks, now recalled as 'The Socks from Hell's. Knitted for a submission deadline. First one, fine. Second one...many, many attempts as time kept dwindling and the mistakes kept happening...ten years on and I still can't think about too long.

Three @GWRHelp trains taken in the past year, three claims for compensation due to late running put in. Yes, I'll get money back but once again, resulting missed connection means a 90min+ miserable wait on a station platform for the next onward train. I won't be doing this again.
@kariebookish Same. My conscience salving move has been to change my job so that I will be teaching hundreds of small people how to knit, sew, crochet etc. Therefore stash acquisition is part of my job ๐
