It took me ions to figure it what made me so fundamentally angry with #ShinyHappyPeople If sheltered from the evil world & yet they enter it ill equipped due the sheltering. Teach the young to protect themselves w. all the knowledge & skills in the world.

@drmakedaansah @substack I write this as a European, Finnish to be exact. I do not understand the craze to homeschool. In the worst case scenario, the teacher is not qualified and the academic part is below par. Insulating kids out of the real world makes them ill equipped.

@brmorris If you have a toddler who is raised by a 11 yo girl, who is taught to execute the punishment, there might be a ton of additional issues. This is just so wrong in so many levels, I don't even know where to start. #childabuse

@Ali4cattos It depends. I was raised in an liberal atheist family in Europe. I was triggered heavily by some scenes. I still am I guess, but it might also be very cleansing and there is a lot of useful information. If you like horror, it's the real deal.

@MarxandCookies In Europe one is free to homeschool, but you still have to stick to the curriculum and the kids have to prove they are learning what they are supposed to. The kids are not left without supervision. The Wisdom Booklets #ati uses are not a source of anything.
