My core concern with @JDVance comments is that he treats regime change in Iran as “incidental.” Iranians are not asking for reformists, or more mullahs. Inside Iran and in the diaspora, people have been chanting one name for a transitional leader: @PahlaviReza who has openly positioned himself to help lead a secular, democratic transition.
