When are we going to have portals for our Aave positions? @StaniKulechov@AaveAave I would love to move my collateral from Polygon to an L2 but don’t want to manually sell/repay/bridge/deposit/borrow to move
@epolynya Wait you’re telling me that running a token-based voting democracy with a bunch of strangers isn’t more effective social coordination than corporations? Crazy talk.
@gordonbrander Fwiw stETH is only depegged on secondary markets. Once the merge to proof-of-stake happens, every stETH will be redeemable for one ETH (functionally very different from tradable). Presuming a high degree of confidence that the merge will happen, it’s easy arbitrage
@lay2000lbs Would you consider making these available to mint on Arbitrum and/or Optimism? I’d like to do so but don’t keep my ETH on mainnet, as basically everybody has been telling us to get to L2s for a while
@JuliaLipton If you have a dollar to spend, Purple is great at that. Definitely get a King sized, a Queen is basically two twin beds together so of course it would suck to share that
@elonmusk Honestly what are the odds this is a playbook and not people actually reporting sexual misconduct? Viewed through the political lens we could also say: “I stayed quiet until I realized how much power this person had or was about to have, at which point speaking became a duty”
@Battletank09 @clozeline3 @Nash076 Nobody expects a government bailout. The plan Vitalik points to does not make LUNA holders “whole,” only UST holders
@TimSEsq Not necessarily government regulation. LFG sold almost 3 billion dollars in Bitcoin to defend the UST peg, even if that failed. Do Kwon may have an interest in redeeming his reputation. There are all sorts of non-governmental reasons why they would do this.
@philadolfian@0xfulvia Do you believe everybody you’ve worked with is the most qualified person for the job? Why did they get the job anyway?
Employers make imperfect judgements of future potential based on their subjective reality.
Employers can create an environment that results in worse applicants
@philadolfian@0xfulvia No, and also, as the video and my tweets point out, there are often unaddressed structural factors that result in a hiring imbalance in the first place. When you correct those, you don’t have to set percentage quotas to fix the imbalance.
