The furor over a firefighter being suspended for writing to the premier asking him to intervene and stop a homeless him and unregulated consumption site in his #Victoriabc neighbourhood isn’t over.

Mayor Marianne Alto says she’s disappointed in BC NDP Premier David Eby for intervening in the discipline. Okay.. but where was she when the firefighter was suspended for criticizing HER pet project? Why didn’t SHE show some leadership?

Why did she do everything behind closed doors, put the building behind a numbered company and didn’t trust or care about her community enough to have an open conversation with them before beginning on this journey?

It is incredulous to me that Alto didn’t know the suspension was coming.
