@ultimatemince@DeniyaNeal Because Elon is involved in many countries politics. You should ask Elon why he is comparing the two. This man is shaping the world's opinion about things he knows very little about. London is one of the largest cities in the world. If it's safer than major cities in the US?
@alluringmedia While what he says could come true. There's literally a very small chance it will come true without some great political transition to what we have now. And unfortunately, politically, he is working very hard against it actually happening.
@CXCarroll@dim0kq You're right. I thought I had seen this before. Then I realized no I saw something like this a month ago, or maybe earlier. And that this is actually new.

I read that and stop reading. Completely stupid as shit and totally AI. (don't worry you'll be listening to my stupid AI next ;)
@jimiuorio "That’s probably why they vote for candidates that’s want to tear down the system."
Sir, you literally voted for a president who has done this very thing. Do you really think Trumps economic policies were designed to strengthen the last economic system? Tariffs?? Really???
@Acyn It's hilarious because the inflation during the Biden administration was caused by insane asset inflation from the prior Trump era tax code and upper class tax cuts. Just ridiculous propaganda and Americans are fucking idiots, they can't help eat this shit right up.
@Reuters National security is the stated reason, but the real signal is about energy infrastructure sovereignty. Wind farms tie grid stability to weather and foreign supply chains—a vulnerability great powers don't tolerate.
@Gains4151@Liathetrader I agree, and if we take into account Luxembourg alone accounts for over $400 billion in US treasuries, and the Eurozone may experience up to 6% inflation due to Iran, they are going to want more then they are getting from our treasuries moving forward.
@Liathetrader It's true. But that's been that way for a very long time now. Also, everyone is saying a recession is coming (so they are defensive) even if it's not. And interest rates may actually start rising (keeping those money markets stable for now). Just some thoughts.
I'm still running on a bunch of qwen models. I definitely am switching over to some Gemma models today tho. (especially the Gemma 4 26b for general utility) Who needs these paid models when you can build a stack of models and orchestrate them with a solid routing foundation.
@Mayhem4Markets So many failed disappointments in a row and they just don't get it. Guess I'll be anonymous forever fearing for the ability to speak my opinions publically because we have no viable even 2 party system any longer to defend my right to free speech. It's incredibly sad.
