AnotherHobbyist

Just another hobbyist.

Warhammer 40k, IT, Linux, video games, N gauge model railways, lego and anything that takes my fancy.

A rant about the absence of physical books available from @warhammer's Black Library.

Would love to have an answer as to why physical copies are never available. I mean, you can literally print money...

@khuryaggoth @HMBohemond Now you mention it I remember something about him being excused from shaving, but can't recall anything specific about a beard. I'll look for it on my next read through.

Agree about the pouches. I also think we need an alternative model of him in a vest for warmer war zones.

I've done some hobbying this week.

@MightyLGames I'm not big on the hype for new stuff. My current projects still revolve around 1st born marines 🤣 also I personally travel some way to visit you guys so you're safe on that front!

And it's nice not to have pushy sales like you get in Warhammer stores.

So happy 😁

Stages 1 (base colours) and 2 (initial layers) of a Blood Angel in a slime pit.

A bit of a practice run before painting some oldhammer blood angels :)

I have a lot of paint, so that's no problem, it's technique I lack 😄

Thanks for the tips, I'll dig out my bits box for some experiments!

Will see what i can do with the paints I have but basing red is probably where I went wrong as I used jokero orange.

Thanks pal!

Asking for a me.

Stripped and undercoated this #oldhammer terminator squad, but find myself stuck for a colour scheme.

Suggestions welcome, bonus points for pics!
