In this year's workshop, themed "Towards Robots with Human-Level Abilities", we will look at a pivotal question: how far are we from robots achieving human-level performance across a wide range of physical activities? While humanoids are undoubtedly an exciting robot form factor, recent systems for drone racing (https://t.co/D6RyB3XXpN), playing table tennis (https://t.co/EHpJUcbEU2), and others clearly demonstrate that looking like a human isn’t a requirement for performing as well as one. This workshop will focus on research advances that promise to bring robots closer to human-level competence. We believe many of the weaknesses of the current robotic systems to be a reflection of the shortcomings of general AI methods and models. Thus, we invite contributions with diverse perspectives on the workshop theme from the robotics as well as ML communities at ICLR, from academia and industry, and from participants from a variety of backgrounds and career stages.
Specific areas of interest include but are not limited to:
🔥Novel ML algorithms and model architectures for robot control.
🔥Human-robot interaction and collaboration.
🔥Hardware innovations and system integration.
🔥Simulation, benchmarking, and evaluation methodologies.
🔥Applications in unstructured and dynamic environments.
We welcome submissions in full-paper, tiny-paper, and systems-paper formats: please see https://t.co/RdultbixPm for more details.
See you in Singapore! 🦾

Had a great time visiting @UW and giving a talk about #Trace (https://t.co/eMzv8zlGD5) last Friday. Thanks @abhishekunique7 for hosting. Lots of fun discussions. Nice to see so many creative ideas of using #Trace.
