For for anyone who finds this post, I was CulverDrums on here until the beginning of July. I left abruptly, as I was really just overtaxed with media and such. I went and sought my peace, largely finding it. While back, I am just not getting into the depths I did earlier. Not putting X on my phone. Not checking it all day. I learned to enjoy being alone, realizing it was not really all that lonely. There I found my peace- a minimalization of needs and wants easy to manage and maintain.
I found myself- my true self- and it is the wanderer, the lone-rider, hence the new X handle from Old English án (lone, singular) + ridda (rider).
I came back mostly, because I did miss a select few people who I enjoy and consider friends, and my knowledge of the current news cycle was wanting of late.
Texas 2A liberties are about to be torn to shreds, because our law enforcement hates gun rights, especially Constitutional Carry and Open Carry. The "we support all cops" cried in the GOP lijely can be swayed to agree with such limitations.
Even funnier though is the ACAB leftist will need to work woth said LEO gtouos to enforce it. Real dissonance there.
Funny people. Super "Aryan" types. The man married an "Aryan", let her keep her "Aryan" faith meaning he'll be more open to those like us thsn any of the e-crusaders, a d he seems like he learns lessons.
The political right doesn't know how it wiekd power. Period. Here in Texas, some self-centered clown in the GOP wanted to be Soeaker more thsn helping the party, needed and got Dems to help, and gave them chairmanships on committees they will never reciprocate.
@FenixAmmunition He's trying to avoid the coming Night of Long Knives MAGA will have coming. Of course, this is what Thune was waiting for- a chance to move back to a marginal opposition, center-right party of some ineffective age.
@texasdemocrats are going to make huge mistakes thinking they gave a mandate or that their policies were popular. They didn't win; Trump lost. It is a significant semantic point. Trump's 24 voters turned out hard...to punish him for lying, the economy, and the war. The right actually believes in punishing their own. Not quite the cultic behavior claimed it has.
As an example, while blue ride a wave, largely pushing more money for public schools, the grand majority of bond elections failed. People are tired of being taxed to fix problems. That is not a pro-tax environment. Do it and the next 4 years will be short-lived. Fix administrative bloat and poor spending amd you might get more people on your side.
Also, watch going after gun rights. Again, you don't have a mandate like you think. Trump was punished. However, the largest demographic arming themselves in theast two years "against tyrany" as the 2A protects was...leftists a d Democrats, arming again Trump and because of high crime in blue cities.
Playing the national platform is a folly for both parties in Texas. Make the state work for everyone.
No I didn't vote for you but I just want liberty and Texas to work for everyone. That means I want the state to still be successful.
We won't have anger focused toward Trump forever.
@tommydragna Because we waste land on agriculture instead of pasture. We can't building herds now as fast, but it is what we need. Better for the soil, water, etc.
@tommydragna To their detriment. Their average size shrank about half a foot within a few generations. Grain domesticates people like cattle. Adopting it is not good for people.
Again we are optimized for meat. Anything else is filler for the stomach to seem full, but nutritionally does not help us. Going to plants, especially grains lost humans average stature and brain size. Most of the tribes that toppled parts of Rome were very high in protein and animal fat diets. The only thing the tree/plant bring is organization in the form of tyrany over land and making people the herd.
No they are not. We are only omnivores in severe calorie deficits. Our gut is in fact not designed for it. We do not have any part of our digestive tract desinged like herbivores. Our stomach acid is the same as a vulture, not great for plants but perfect for meat. Even if our body passes them through, bio-availability is another issue. Some plants ave a ton of iron, sure, but most of it cannot be absorbed in our system. By the time you eat enough, an 8 oz. steak could have done the job better.
@tommydragna That is feed for what you are supposed to eat, ruminant animals. We are not designed efficiently for plants and we can barely absorb nutrients from them. At best they keep us feeling full until real food arrives.
