Parents must vet every single person who are being granted charge over their own children. This includes babysitter, daycare, school boards, school administrators, teachers, school medical staff etc. This responsibility is paramount, if one loves his/her children.

It is far easier to vet a private school than a public one. This should be a consideration when choosing a school.

If you are not being allowed to fully verify a person who will hold authority over your child, that is an obvious red flag 🚩 that you should not hand over your son or daughter to them.

Even your child’s best friend’s parents should be verified, if you are giving them access to your kids, e.g. spending the night or taking them on outings. IMO
