We make sure our interns aren’t scheduled for any clinical duties on the last Sunday evening of every block. This gives them time to get together for dinner monthly. Glad to see the tradition is alive and all the happy faces of DallasEM and their significant others!
Those who I see getting COVID:
- Unvax'd + unmasked = very sick
- Unvax'd + masked = pretty sick
- Vax'd (no booster) + masked/unmasked = mild sick
- Vax'd (w/booster) + unmasked = barely sick
Those who I DON'T see getting COVID:
- Vaccinated, boosted, & masked

For a moment I hesitate, then ask.
“Mind if I sit down?” 1/
Thank you to @LashNolen for discussing racism in medicine/medical education and what learning communities can do to address persistent injustice. #2021LCI. @LearnComm_MedEd
Almost 400,000 residents of Dallas County have received their COVID-19 vaccine since January!
Shout out to our UTSW EM faculty leadership for continuing their efforts in providing vaccine education at our community vaccine sites. The real MVPs!
