@harrybrownrigg @BuckDancerMD I had emergency surgery last month in California. I paid a total of $274. which included five prescriptions and a follow up call from the surgeon herself. I got the right treatment, I didn’t go bankrupt.

@dremilyportermd @jmugele Had emergency surgery 12/14, follow up with surgeon I thanked her, surgical team, hospital medical staff, her parents; thanked her for missing social engagements to study. Also filled out online survey & left a compliment on hospital website. Grateful for medical professionals!!

My parents didn’t eat dairy or meat on Wednesdays or Fridays! They were vegans two days a week my entire life!

Ginger tea! One ingredient, good for digestion, nausea, hot beverage! Grate ginger, steep it in boiling water. Strain. Enjoy! Add honey and/or lemon for antibacterial boost!

@PrairieSky_27 TY! It’s unusual as we’ve never had heat like that ever before! Most people in The Bay Area (SF, Oakland, Berkeley) don’t have air conditioning either unless their house was built in the last ten years!

@PrairieSky_27 Focus on something bigger then your problems. 109.9 heat in a pandemic while the biggest fires of my life are raging in my state & sky is orange?! I think of the firefighters at the scene, the farm workers in the fields & the medical professionals on the front line. I’m good.
