In sub-Saharan Africa I was taken to entire camps of women who were raped so violently with both penises and objects such as bottles, that they were permanently injured. And these women had already suffered cliterodectomies and infibulation. People in the West have no concept of the sexual violence aimed at women in fundamentalist Muslim countries and in sub-Saharan Africa.
Land acknowledgments but bragging.
“This is unceded Algonquin land. Their armies could not stand before us. We took it from their hand, their people unwilling.”
If you had trusted the settled science of the day, here is how it would have gone.
1890s: you dose the baby with Bayer's new cough syrup, the non-addictive alternative to morphine, marketed for children. It was heroin. They named it after the German for heroic.
1900s: you rub calomel teething powder on your infant's gums. It is a mercury compound, and it leaves a generation with pink disease. Swollen, peeling hands and feet, screaming for months, and some of them died.
1910s: you cook in Crisco, launched by a soap and candle company, because cottonseed oil is modern and lard is what your mother used. The process that made it solid produced trans fat, banned outright a century later.
1920s: you drink Radithor, certified radioactive water, on prescription. Eben Byers took fourteen hundred bottles for his vitality. His jaw was removed in pieces and he was buried in a lead coffin.
1930s: a chemist dissolves a new sulfa drug in diethylene glycol, which is antifreeze. It kills 107 people, mostly children, and only then does America give the FDA power to demand safety testing.
1940s: your doctor lights a Camel in the surgery. More doctors smoke them than any other brand, and the advert runs in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which sold him the page.
1950s: DDT is sprayed over your kitchen, your garden and your children at school. The man who found its insecticidal properties has already been given a Nobel Prize.
1960s: your wife takes thalidomide for morning sickness because it is remarkably safe. More than ten thousand children are born with missing and shortened limbs.
1970s: the country puts down the butter and picks up the margarine, on the instruction of the American Heart Association. The fat everybody switched to was banned in 2015 as unsafe at any level.
1980s: the fat comes out of everything and sugar goes back in to make it edible. Obesity begins a climb it has never come off.
1990s: your father is prescribed OxyContin, because fewer than one per cent get addicted. The company later pleads guilty to criminal misbranding, and the overdose count runs into hundreds of thousands.
2000s: you take Vioxx for your knee. It is pulled in 2004, and the FDA's own safety officer estimates tens of thousands of excess heart attacks.
Not one of those was fringe. Every one had a professional body, a literature and a man in a white coat standing behind it.
Nobody who followed that advice was stupid. They were obedient, to the most qualified people available.
Settled is a word about money. It means the questions stopped being funded, so they stopped being asked.
So which of today's instructions will your grandchildren read out in disbelief.
The oil washed in hexane and built into every cell you own. The statin that blocks the pathway making your hormones, to prevent one heart attack per hundred people. The injection where a third of the loss is muscle. The infant formula built out of vegetable oil.
All settled. None of it funded to be otherwise.
Callin Clancy was strangled so hard his neck was swollen, and his brain swelled so much from the force that his brain started to try and come out the base of the skull. An 8 month old boy lay there screaming and crying, not understanding why his mother is killing him, but LINDSEY is the one I’m supposed to feel sorry for? Lindsey is the center of the story?
Callan was a child. He suffered. Doctors fought for him. He died. The fact that so many people can talk endlessly about her pain while barely acknowledging his should disturb everyone.
Yeah that’s not how greatness works, Jeff. India has 2X more people than the entire earth did in Mozart’s time and they’ve produced precisely zero Mozarts. Numbers don’t produce greatness, cultures do.
It’s baffling how such smart people think and say the stupidest things.
CAUGHT INSIDE MINNEAPOLIS POLLING BOOTHS: Minnesota Poll Workers Tell O’Keefe, Dressed in Muslim Garb, & @camhigby, in a Burka, That They Can Vouch for Eight Unregistered Voters Without ID, Allowing Them to Vote in Minnesota Primary Election
Election worker says, “You’re the ID,” referring to the registered voter serving as identification for the people they are vouching for.
Election worker confirms O’Keefe’s question about unregistered voters being vouched for: “I can vouch for them. They are not registered… That’s okay. That’s fine. Yeah!”
Election worker explains that a registered voter in the same precinct can vouch for up to eight people: “If you’re all in the same precinct and you are already registered, you can vouch for them as ID. Eight people.”

"You think I'm going to help you befoul his legacy
by giving this country over to them what's had no hand in the fighting for it? Why, because they come off a boat, crawling with lice and begging you for soup?"
Some four foot tall goblin refusing to learn English for 37 years and demanding welfare seems like the perfect caricature of exactly why the border should be closed and everyone who came across it deported. These people aren't Americans and don't want to be Americans. They just want the handouts as they beg for soup while crawling with the lice of the Global Favela
My family can trace our lineage back to when one of our ancestors served in the Revolution and was deeded land in Ohio. We still possess a musket that a relative carried during the Civil War. So no. Some Haitian you airdropped into our state yesterday is not American like us.
A patriarchy wouldn't have any hesitation to kill a man who did this, but our matriarchy struggles. Why?
Because in a matriarchy, all morality is run through the collective female's subjective experience. "I was sad postpartum so I empathize with her."
But notice who isn't empathized with? The children. Because the children, once associated as a burden on the mother, are emotionally devalued.
It's the same reason women are so adamant about abortion and now infantcide in states like MA and CA. The child's life ceases to matter if it imposes on the woman.
What we learn from this is that many women are actually not empathetic at all, they are narcissistic - what we call "empathy" is just a woman relating to what another woman is going through. But not because she cares about the other woman, but because it is a mechanism to care about HERSELF.
She lined her children up in the basement and strangled each of them to death, one by one. I don't give a shit what drugs she was taking. I don't give a shit about her postpartum depression. She committed the most unspeakably evil act that any person can commit. She should die for her crimes. Coming to the defense of a woman who methodically executed all of her children is depraved. You should be ashamed.
Lindsay Clancy sent her husband out of the house, brought her children into the basement, and then methodically strangled each of them to death, one by one. I don't care if she had postpartum depression. I don't care how many psychiatric drugs she was taking. When you murder a child -- let alone three children, your children -- you must be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Justice demands nothing less. My sympathy for your depression dries up completely the moment you strangle your child to death. This should not be controversial.
I don't care about young Mutumbo living in some village in Africa, thinking about how good life could be in America. I don't care Poojah in Mumbai dreaming of coming to America and going to school. I don't care about Juan in Venezuela who heard stories about how fantastic the USA and the American dream is.
The American dream is for Americans. The fact is, that right now, most young Americans will never live the American dream. They'll never even come close. Spare me your sob stories, there are actual Americans who had their destiny stolen from them. That's who I care about.
Go home.
Don't come.
One thing to keep in mind when you see reports about alcohol use declining is not only that lots of people have swapped booze for weed, but also many more people are using psychiatric meds to calm themselves down and handle stress. We are not in any way even remotely a more sober society than we were back when everyone was drinking booze. We traded one substance for myriad other substances that mess with your mind much more deeply and in ways that we don’t even understand.
Everyone has their own story and timeline. BUT I'd encourage you:
IF you've met "the one" ... just get married
And IF you are married ... just have a baby
DO NOT believe the lie that marriage or kids are incompatible with ambition or adventure
You can do both. At the same time.
It will be difficult and will require sacrifice of some things. But is absolutely worth it. And it can be done.
@billybinion And what nationality comprises the gangs? Is it Americans, Canadians? Who is responsible for the routine violence? Are they Dutch? In what sane world would we allow anyone from that violent society into the land where my grandchildren live?
Every single Muslim holding public office in America is a trojan horse, and a threat to both national security and our republic.
We refuse to be silent.
