New song: “aphantasia slide”. Life without pictures in a world built on stories. Like being left handed at a right handed desk. I felt something was off and pretended it was fine for years. This track is me choosing the present. Play it live.
Video contains 21 Veo 3.1 videos! I experimented a lot and dancing is a hard thing to pull off!

I think it has some quirks. A few days ago I read a few posts about FortiBleed, dealing with Fortinet VPN compromise. My feed has been over flooded with posts about it. Sometimes it was like 10 posts in a row. I didn’t engage in any posts, but they just kept coming. I was only interested in reading the first couple, the rest can go.
@kirillk_web3 Didn’t Dario leave OpenAI because he thought GPT 2 was to dangerous and wanted to keep it from the public, but no one listened to him so he threw a fit and left?
Interesting. Besides Fable or Opus 4.8, what do you like about Anthropic.
They are anti open source.
They have a lot of leaders that are into EA, as well as the same people that was working for the Biden administration that heavily believed in and pushed government controlled frontier labs.
They constantly berate their users.
They claim safety first but when big names across the industry (not the government) warn of issues, they balk and claim it’s nothing.
I love their models, but man am I not a fan of any of their leadership.
@DissentFu Wow, I am 52 as well, worked since I was knee high to a grass hopper. I really hope my social media present doesn’t make me come off like a hateful old man. Time to go self reflect.
Is Anthropic actually profitable. I am far from any kind of expert, and maybe that is why I don’t get it.
They had the issue with the government, which increased their subs by many people of the left.
They have a huge contract with xAI.
They “showed” a profit for like a month or two right? Didn’t that also include all the yearly pre paids as well?
I just don’t understand how it’s even a talking point.
@kimmonismus Why? It seems like a horrible business decision. You have something so great and powerful that can accelerate what you do, but elect to use something smaller. Weird.
