The wider issue is asking for prayers after the reposed of someone; and there is evidence this was Jewish practice well before the 1st C.E. And then explicit Christian 2nd-3rd C.E

Look--99% of the non-Catholic young people attending such an event have been given *zero* foundation upon which to recognize what he is doing and why he is doing it. They think the rosary is just some "thing Catholics do." They have no idea how it is related to RC spirituality, sacramentology, and especially, Mariology. Even most Reformed today just don't care about all that "old stuff" anymore, and those that do tend to be so harsh, so fossilized, no one wants to stay in the same room with them. And so here we are. Roman Catholic integralism (the RC version of CNism) on full display at the TPUSA event. Please do not confuse a biblically defensible concept of Christ as Lord over the nations, the centrality of God's law, etc., with integralism. They are NOT the same thing. The Roman Catholic gospel *cannot* bring the peace between men and God that is necessary for peace itself to flourish on earth, and with Rome moving ever more clearly toward ecumenical unity with the East, and embracing more and more simply non-Christian concepts in the Magisterium and amongst the Cardinals and bishops, what the final amalgamation will look like is hard to say. But I can guarantee you one thing: it won't have the gospel, hence, it won't have the power of God. So when we see ostensibly "Reformed" guys hugging and mugging with Roman Catholics, or even "semi-Catholics" like Robinson, realize: they clearly have no idea where Rome's theology actually leads, let alone how empty that cooperation will prove to be.

@JVmitten @EsquireCatholic @R_H_Benson Also, Vatican II modernized the Catholic Church. All the fruits of it opened a flood gate of corruptions. It is why you'll encounter very Liberal Catholic professors are Catholic schools and universities. Professed Catholics supporting abortion, etc.

Many are saying the Vatican is not denying that Mary is co-mediatrix, but they are discouraging the term because it can be misunderstood.

But that never stopped us from using the term Trinity.

The actual reason no one should use the term Co-Mediatrix is because it’s wrong.

Yes, folks, this IS orthodox Roman Catholic belief. We will see what happens on Tuesday as to how much "clarified" it becomes. But there is one fact that should be clear: there is nothing, absolutely nothing, in all of the true Apostolic deposit (known as the New Testament) that says anything even slightly resembling this. Nothing.

@mehdirhasan Yes, Islam should be fear because when Muslims are in control of any location, they become hostile and instill Islamic law. That is a fact. NO ONE can give me a country where Islam is the religion or Muslims in the majority and have MORE freedom than the west. Doesn't exist

You see, Catholics have to twist this text to say something about Mary that it doesn't say or teaches. You only read it that way because Rome told you to see that there.

For example, they see proof of Mary Intercession in John 2, Wedding Cana where Mary ask Jesus for help with the lack of wine available. But what a stretch!
