@mil000 It's got no warmth. I can't connect with like I would with a verizon or amazon commercial.
That kind of humanity is worth at least 5k in my book.
@bscholl It used to be the kids would say "just google it" and they meant to search it on the internet.
Now I'm afraid they want me to release 32 million infected mosquitoes into my den.
@nosilverv Art has always been many things including cool, sad, uncomfortable, powerful, enlightening etc.
But I think it is super cool when someone can express themselves physically through the mastery of a craft and probably makes it art or something.
@aaronm875@MinistryOvTrvth I'm not sure there's been enough time for the techniques to develop to get 'quality' output in a lot of people's view.
New processes take time to get good at.
@ForagingForever@GhostRhodesia@BjorkBrodern On the contrary, since Covid outdoor recreation in the US has surged to all time highs and is pretty much on par with Europe in that regard.
@teethrichards I feel like unless you use your finger print to access government secrets you don't really have to worry about this.
I hope that girl doesn't have the launch codes tho...
@CapablePerform1@EmperorBigD@robertoblake@CultureCrave I can tell you aren't going to faithfully engage with me on this one.
It sucks that you would rather twist my words than put any thought into a conversation.
Later, bub.
@CapablePerform1@EmperorBigD@robertoblake@CultureCrave Well all of those are problems with it. I hope they get solved as the tech grows. This is a normal cycle of technology and innovation. I drive an I.C.E. car, after all..
I DO like how it has helped me connect with my IRL community through art experiences and my charity work tho.
@CapablePerform1@EmperorBigD@robertoblake@CultureCrave It was people like you that caused me to look deeper into AI in the first place. There is usually something interesting to be discovered when people hate something with such a misplaced vigor.
@CapablePerform1@EmperorBigD@robertoblake@CultureCrave Yes I certainly did. And correcting myself to be more accurate than the already accurate statement I made is not lying.
Usually, when someone engages thoughtfully and earnestly with a subject they will come to soften their harsh criticisms because nothing is black and white.
@CapablePerform1@EmperorBigD@robertoblake@CultureCrave I never lied, you misread. I never said I didn't use it previously. I never typed the word "use". You added that.
I corrected myself. But just because I use AI doesn't mean I havent had mixed feelings over the course of the last few years about it. I was once pretty opposed.
@CapablePerform1@EmperorBigD@robertoblake@CultureCrave *more. I should have said like AI MORE.
I still use discernment on what information to give it, especially in my charity work.
For my creative processes with wood fired ceramics and analog photography though it has been an excellent tool that has yielded exciting new things.
@homemadehooplah@Delerat7@notadampaul I understand where you are coming from. Technology gave you access to income that you wouldn't normally have had otherwise.
The same argument you're making against AI happened with brick and mortar retail and online shopping.
Your website looks great though, I wish you luck!
